So true, sometimes the deepest hurt comes from those within our own family. Jesus warned that following Him could bring misunderstanding, rejection, and conflict even inside one’s household. He was not encouraging family division but preparing His followers to remain faithful when it happened. Family opposition hurts because we expect home to be a place of love and safety. Yet even when relatives misunderstand us, we should not answer hatred with hatred. We can stand firm in our faith while speaking gently, forgiving freely, praying faithfully, and leaving their hearts in God’s hands. Since God deals with people individually, do not be discouraged if even your family is without understanding as to what God is telling you, nor be discouraged, your church family you see a few times a week that do care about their brothers and sisters in Christ. Your immediate family don’t want to understand Jesus like you do. But eventually they may come around and join Jesus and His Truth and way.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, when those closest to me hurt or misunderstand me, help me remain faithful to You. Guard my heart from bitterness, give me peaceful words, and bring healing and unity to my family. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
