Some people curse their fathers and refuse to bless their mothers. Proverbs 30:11ERV:

This verse is sad because many mothers give so much of themselves to their children through love, prayer, sacrifice, teaching, and care. Yet their efforts may sometimes be overlooked or unappreciated. Proverbs 30:11 warns against treating parents with disrespect or withholding the gratitude and honor they deserve. A mother may not be perfect, but the love and sacrifices she has given should not be forgotten. Let us appreciate our mothers, speak kindly to them, and bless them while we still have the opportunity.

Dear Heavenly Father, help us honor and appreciate our parents here on earth and know their prayers are still working when they go to Heaven. Bless every mother who has loved, prayed, sacrificed, and cared for her children. Comfort those whose love has been overlooked and soften the hearts of their children. Thank God for good fathers who love, protect, and guide their children. We also pray for and forgive fathers who have failed or caused hurt. Forgiveness releases bitterness, but it does not excuse harmful behavior. We can love someone while still using wisdom and maintaining healthy boundaries. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
