“God Gives More Than We Do”

Give to other people and God will give to you. He will give to you even more than you gave. He will fill your pocket until no more will go in. It will be so full that it will come out over the top. Think about how you give to other people. God will give in the same way to you.’ Luke 6:38 EASY:

Jesus teaches us to live with an open and generous heart. What we give to others, whether kindness, mercy, forgiveness, encouragement, or material help, often returns to us. The picture is of grain packed tightly into a container, shaken to make more room, and filled until it overflows. This verse is not only about money. In the surrounding passage, Jesus is also speaking about showing mercy, refusing to condemn others, and freely forgiving them. The measure of grace we extend to people is the measure we should be prepared to receive. Give love when someone feels forgotten. Give forgiveness when resentment seems easier. Give encouragement when another person is discouraged. God sees every sincere act of kindness, and He can return blessings in ways that overflow beyond what we expected.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, give me a generous and forgiving heart. Help me freely share love, kindness, mercy, and encouragement. May the measure I give reflect the abundant grace You have given me. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
