Obeying our parents is more than following rules. It is one way we honor God. When children listen with a willing heart, their obedience brings peace to the family and joy to the Lord. God gives responsibilities to both children and parents. Children are to obey, and parents are to teach, guide, and correct them with patience and love. A godly home grows stronger when parents lead by example and children learn to follow what is right.The strained relationship between children and parents are usually traced to the childs disregard of what God has to say. For a better home life, make it Christ centered.

Dear Lord Jesus, give parents wisdom to train their children in Your ways. Give children willing hearts to listen and obey. Fill every home with patience, love, and godly understanding. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your mighty precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
