So faith comes from hearing the Good News. And people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ. Romans 10:17 ERV:
Faith does not grow by circumstances. Faith grows by hearing God’s Word. When doctors give difficult reports, when prayers seem unanswered, or when the future feels uncertain, God’s Word reminds us who He is and what He has promised. The more we fill our hearts with Scripture, the stronger our faith becomes. Fear often grows from listening to our doubts, but faith grows from listening to God. His Word gives hope when we are discouraged, peace when we are anxious, and strength when we feel weak. Whether we are praying for healing, standing beside a spouse through hardship, or facing an unknown tomorrow, faith comes as we continue to hear and believe God’s Word. If we want to grow more faithful, we need to read the word and pray faithfully.
Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, thank You and praise You for Your Word, which strengthens my faith and guides my heart. When fear tries to overwhelm me, help me listen to Your voice above every other voice. Fill my mind with Your truth and Your promises. Lord Jesus, teach me to trust You even when I cannot see the outcome. Help me stand firm in faith, believing that You are good, faithful, and always at work. Let Your Word be my comfort, my hope, and my strength each day. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
