You trust in the Lord for protection. You have made God Most High your place of safety. So, nothing bad will happen to you. No diseases will come near your home. Psalm 91:9-10
When we make the Lord our refuge and place our trust in Him, these verses paint a picture of God’s protective presence surrounding us. Reminds us that trusting God is not wishful thinking but a settled confidence: because we have made the Lord our dwelling, no harm will overtake us and no disaster will come near our home. This promise doesn’t remove every trial, but it reorients our hearts, fear loses its grip when we live under God’s shelter and remember that He watches over our steps. Living in that shelter means choosing dependence day by day: praying, obeying, and resting in God’s faithfulness. As we face uncertainty, these verses invite us to stand firm in God’s care, to let His presence shape our responses, and to share that peace with others who are anxious or afraid.
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You that You are my refuge and my dwelling place. Help me to trust You fully so that fear loses its hold and Your peace fills my heart. Guard my home and my loved ones; keep us safe under Your wings and give us courage for each day. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Amen.
