Two days later there was a wedding in the town of Cana in Galilee, and Jesus’ mother was there. Jesus and his followers were also invited. At the wedding there was not enough wine, so Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” Jesus answered, “Dear woman, why are you telling me this? It is not yet time for me to begin my work.” His mother said to the servants, “Do what he tells you.” At Cana we see Jesus stepping into an ordinary family celebration and bringing unexpected abundance. Mary’s simple instruction to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you “Points us to a posture of trust and obedience: when we follow Jesus’ direction, even small acts (filling jars, offering what we have) become the place where he works a miracle. Expect transformation when you bring what you have and obey his voice.  John 2:1-5 ERV:

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for meeting us in ordinary moments and turning what is simple into something life-giving. Give me the faith to follow Your voice and the obedience to do whatever You tell me, even when it seems small or ordinary. Fill what I offer with Your presence and bring Your abundant blessing into my life and relationships. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Mighty Name Lord Jesus Amen.
