“Faith & Obedience”

The Lord said to Abram, “Leave your country and your people. Leave your father’s family and go to the country that I will show you. I will build a great nation from you. I will bless you and make your name famous. People will use your name to bless other people. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you. I will use you to bless all the people on earth. Genesis 12:3 ERV

God’s promise to Abraham was meant for the whole world: through his family, all nations would be blessed. This blessing points to God’s plan of redemption, showing His purposes go far beyond one group or moment in time. God’s promises are both personal and global, shaping individual lives and the story of the nations. He chose Abraham because of his faith and obedience, and He still works through anyone who trusts Him. Following Jesus means living with that same faith and love, stepping out boldly, welcoming others, and living sacrificially. What matters most is a willing heart, not perfection. No one is exempt because of status or title. Jesus is not a title, and no one should treat others as if He were. God takes ordinary people and turns them into instruments of blessing. What a sweeping promise! What historical fact and the end is not yet.

Dear Blessed Lord Jeesus, thank you for the promise you gave to Abraham and for the blessing that reaches to all nations. Help me to live in the light of Your faithfulness, to be a channel of Your blessing, and to trust Your plans for my life and for the world. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
