“Trust In The Lord & Do Good”

So trust in the Lord and do good. Live on your land and be dependable. Enjoy serving the Lord, and he will give you whatever you ask for. Depend on the Lord. Trust in him, and he will help you. He will make it as clear as day that you are right. Everyone will see that you are being fair. Trust in the Lord and wait quietly for his help. Don’t be angry when people make evil plans and succeed. Psalm 37:3–7

Trust and rest in God’s timing. These verses invite us to trust in the Lord and do good, to live peacefully where God places us, and to delight in Him. When we commit our way to the Lord and wait patiently, He acts on our behalf. The passage contrasts the anxious striving of the wicked with the quiet confidence of those who rely on God: instead of fretting over success or the apparent prosperity of others, we are called to trust, be still, and wait for the Lord’s faithful care. Practically, that means choosing faithful obedience today, cultivating contentment, and letting God’s justice and timing shape our hope.: Do the next right thing in faith, not in fear; rest in God’s promises rather than chasing quick results.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, help me trust You and do good today. Calm my anxious heart and teach me to wait quietly for Your timing. Give me delight in You so I won’t be distracted by what others have. Guide my steps, provide for my needs, and let your faithful love be my confidence. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
