After Jesus resisted temptation, the tempter left and angels came to minister to him. That moment shows God’s timing: deliverance often comes after faithful endurance, and care follows the fight. When you feel drained from resisting what pulls you away from God, remember that rest and restoration are part of his response, hold fast, then receive his help. The New Testament contains multiple passages that treat angels as real, created spiritual beings who serve God and sometimes interact with people (examples include Luke’s birth narratives, Acts, and Hebrews). Why Christians accept both: mainstream Christian teaching holds that Jesus, fully human and fully divine, accepted the reality of the spiritual world described in Scripture, including angels; believing in Jesus in Christian faith typically includes trusting the Bible’s witness about spiritual realities.

Lord, thank You for delivering me from what tempts and weakens me; I trust Your timing and Your care. Fill me with strength to stand and bring Your refreshing rest and healing when the struggle ends. I bring my questions and doubts to You. Help me see clearly, give me wisdom to understand what is true, and patience to keep seeking. If angels are part of Your care, show me how that truth matters for my life; if my doubts are a path to deeper faith, walk with me through them.
