“Hidden Strength, Open Miracle”

Then Gideon said, “Pardon me, sir, but if the Lord is with us, why are we having so many troubles? We heard that he did wonderful things for our ancestors. They tell us that the Lord took them out of Egypt. But now it seems the Lord has left us and is letting the Midianites defeat us.” Judges 6:13 ERV

When doubt meets suffering, Gideon’s question is honest and familiar. Instead of hiding his fear, he speaks it aloud, an opening that lets God meet him where he is. The truth is not that God is absent from trouble but that His presence often comes with a call: to see our weakness, to rely on His strength, and to act in faith. God doesn’t always remove hardship immediately; He uses it to reveal His power through our dependence.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, in the places of my doubt and weariness, help me to see Your presence more than my problems. Give me courage to obey the small steps of faith You set before me and the peace to trust Your, timing. Strengthen my heart so Your power, not my pride, is what others see. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your precious Name Amen.
