“Full Of Grace & Power”

Stephen received a great blessing. God gave him power to do great wonders and miraculous signs among the people. Acts 6:8 ERV

Stephen is described as “full of grace and power,” and his ministry was accompanied by “great wonders and signs” among the people. These signs served as visible confirmation that God was at work through him and that the message he proclaimed carried divine authority. God often validates His message through tangible acts, not to draw attention to the worker, but to point people to Himself and to open hearts to the gospel. In Stephen’s case, the wonders and signs both attracted interest and provoked opposition, showing that confirmation from God can bring both blessing and cost. God confirms His message through both word and deed; be attentive to His work, faithful in proclamation, and humble in response. Prayer invites God’s power, obedient action positions us to be used, and scripture shapes our faith and requests, so we recognize and receive what God does. Prayer opens the door to God’s intervention; it’s how we ask, depend, and align our hearts with His will. Action is faith in motion, serving, speaking, or stepping out when God prompts us,so God has hands and feet to work through. Scripture gives us promises to pray, truths to trust, and examples to follow; praying Bible verses helps focus faith on God’s character and promises. Scripture shows God confirms His message through tangible acts: miracles, signs, and wonders that authenticate the gospel and open hearts to faith. So, it all fits in with God doing miracles. Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, thank You and praise You that You still move when we pray, obey, and stand on Your Word. Give us bold faith to ask, the courage to act. Thank You that You still confirm Your truth through signs, wonders, and the work of the Holy Spirit. Give me faith to pray boldly, courage to act when You lead, and a humble heart that points every miracle back to You. Use my life to bring hope and draw others to You Lord Jesus. Love You, thank You, praise You and give you all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
