Psalm 121:7–8 (KJV) “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
There is such quiet strength in these words. God is not promising a life without trouble, He is promising preservation during it. He preserves your soul when people misunderstand you. He preserves your peace when others speak carelessly. He preserves your steps when you can’t be everywhere or fix everything. He preserves your coming and you’re going, every place you walk, every decision you make, every season you enter or leave. You don’t have to stretch yourself thin trying to protect your name, your heart, or your boundaries. God is already standing in the places you cannot reach. He is guarding what you cannot see. He is covering what you cannot control. His preservation is not temporary, it is from this time forth, and even forevermore.
Father God, thank You for being the One who preserves me. I cannot be everywhere, and I cannot manage every situation or every opinion, but You can. Guard my name where I cannot go. Protect my heart from the weight of gossip, assumptions, and silent burdens. Strengthen me to focus on the responsibilities You’ve placed in my hands without guilt or pressure. Preserve my peace, my steps, and my soul. Keep me steady in Your care, today and always. Love You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
