“He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.” – Ephesians 1:5

Paul says God predestined believers to be brought into his family ‘adoption to sonship’ and that this was accomplished through Jesus Christ as part of God’s deliberate, pleasing will.
