Hebrews 13:15 Easy: So we should always praise God, because of what Jesus has done for us. We should say clearly that we trust Jesus. That is like our sacrifice which we offer to God all the time.
This verse turns worship into an active, ongoing offering. The writer of Hebrews points us to Jesus as the means by which our praise becomes a true sacrifice. The word sacrifice reminds us of cost and devotion: praise isn’t merely polite words or a quick thank-you; it’s a deliberate, repeated offering shaped by gratitude and trust. Calling it the fruit of lips highlights that praise grows out of what we speak, honest confession, thanksgiving, and testimony about who God is and what he has done. To “continually offer” means worship is not confined to a moment on Sunday. It’s a posture that colors daily life: naming God’s goodness in small decisions, thanking him in hard places, and speaking his name when fear or doubt arises. Because Jesus has opened the way, our words of praise are not empty, they are accepted and transformed into a living sacrifice that honors God and strengthens our own faith.
Lord Jesus, thank you and praise You for opening the way so our words can be an offering. Teach me to praise you continually, not from habit, but from a heart that knows your grace. Give me courage to speak your name in small moments and hard ones and let my words be a fragrant sacrifice that honors you and draws others to your love. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
