My brothers and sisters, you will have many kinds of trouble. But this gives you a reason to be very happy. You know that when your faith is tested, you learn to be patient in suffering. James 1:2-3 ERV:

These verses remind us that trials are not pointless interruptions but the soil where faith grows. When difficulties come, we’re invited to view them through God’s long lens: testing produces perseverance, and perseverance shapes character. That doesn’t make pain easy, but it gives suffering a purpose, God is refining trust in us, teaching us to rely on him rather than our own strength. Hold fast to the promise that endurance is forming something lasting inside you: a faith that can stand the next storm. Trials can produce mature joy through growth in faith.  Reframe hardship as training for spiritual maturity. Ask God for eyes to see growth, patience to endure, and courage to keep trusting.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, help me to welcome what refines my faith. Give me patience in the trial, strength to persevere, and a steady hope in your purposes. Shape my heart through this season so I may reflect your wisdom and trust. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your mighty Precious Name Lord Jesus Amen.
