Numbers 6:24-26
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
The blessing in Numbers 6:24–26, often called The Priestly Blessing or The Aaronic Blessing, was given by God and spoken through Moses, who then instructed Aaron and his sons (the priests) to speak it over the people of Israel. It’s a living blessing, still spoken over families, over congregations, over children, over marriages, and over generations. God didn’t let it fade. He preserved it so His people would always know: He gives us peace, He keeps us, He shines on us, He is gracious toward us.

Your post goes perfectly with this week’s Five Minute Friday prompt – Benediction.
