3 John 2 expresses a prayer that our outward life, our health and daily flourishing, would match the spiritual well‑being of our souls. God often answers that prayer through people: faithful friends, fellow believers, and even newcomers who bring encouragement, care, and practical help. Treasure those relationships as channels of God’s blessing and look for ways to be that blessing to others. God wants us to believe for the best in all things, for God surely means for us to have them. Everything including friendships are gifts from God. Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for the gift of people and friends in the faith. Let us be Jesus to all. May they and I prosper in body and spirit; may our lives reflect the health of our souls. Use every friendship, old and new, to strengthen, encourage, and bless us for Your glory.
