“Choose Jesus God Chose You”

1 Peter 1:2-4 – God, the Father, already decided that you should be his people. God’s Spirit has made you special people who would obey Jesus Christ. God chose you so that Jesus Christ’s blood would make you really clean. I pray that God will help you and give you peace in your minds more and more. We praise God, who is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He is very kind to us, so that he has given us new life. This is possible because God raised Jesus Christ to new life after his death. Now, as we live, we are sure that we will receive good things from God. We wait to receive all the good things that he has prepared for us. Nobody can ever destroy those things. Nothing can spoil them. They will never become old or less beautiful. God is keeping those things in heaven for you.

Peter reminds us that your life in God began with His choice, His Spirit’s work, and Jesus’ cleansing blood. You were not an afterthought, you were intentionally set apart to obey Christ and walk in His peace. Because of God’s mercy, you’ve been given new life, a living hope anchored in Jesus’ resurrection. And your future is secure: an inheritance that can’t be destroyed, spoiled, or fade. When life feels unstable, this passage pulls you back to what is unshakeable, God’s choice, Christ’s work, and your eternal hope.

Father God, thank You for choosing me, cleansing me, and giving me new life through Jesus. Fill me with Your peace and help me live in obedience to You. Keep my heart anchored in the hope and inheritance You’ve prepared for me. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in the Mighty Name Of Jesus Amen and Amen.
