“Forgive As The Lord Forgave You”

Colossians 3:13 ERVForgive as the Lord forgave you.Restoration over retaliation.

Don’t be angry with each other, but forgive each other. If you feel someone has wronged you, forgive them. Forgive others because the Lord forgave you.

Forgiveness is a deliberate choice to release the debt another owes you because Christ first released yours. Choosing restoration over retaliation doesn’t ignore the hurt; it refuses to let hurt define your future. Restoration seeks healing, sets wise boundaries, and trusts God to mend what vengeance only deepens. Let mercy shape your next step so grace, not anger, leads the way.

Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, teach me to forgive as You forgave me. Soften my heart, give me courage to pursue restoration, and wisdom to set healthy boundaries. Replace my desire for revenge with Your peace and make me an instrument of Your reconciliation. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
