“But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.” Luke 6:35
This verse calls us to a countercultural love: not only to be kind to friends but to bless those who hurt us, give without expecting repayment, and act with generous mercy. When we love enemies and give freely, we mirror the Father’s kindness and live as children of the Most High, our actions become a visible witness to God’s grace.
Dear Blessed Lord Jesus, soften my heart to love those who oppose me. Help me to give freely, to do good without counting the cost, and to reflect Your kindness to everyone I meet. Make me a true child of Your mercy. Love You, thank You. praise You and give You all the Honor and Glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
