Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion.
Psalm 103:2-4
These verses invite a grateful remembering of God’s mercy: forgiveness, healing, redemption, and being crowned with steadfast love and compassion. It calls the soul to pause and list God’s benefits, so gratitude becomes the default posture rather than an occasional feeling. The verbs are active, forgives, heals, redeems, crowns, which frames God as personally involved in restoring and honoring our lives.
Father God, remind my soul of Your benefits. Forgive what I cannot fix, heal what is broken, lift me from the pit, and clothe me in Your love. Help me live out that mercy toward others. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
