And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:35-38
Jesus walked through every city and village, not to be seen, but to see. He taught, proclaimed, and healed every affliction. And when He saw the crowds, He had compassion. They were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Lord Jesus, of the harvest, You, see what others overlook. You walk toward the weary, not away. Send laborers who carry Your heart, gentle, faithful, and ready to gather with grace. Let us not fear the work but trust the One who calls. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Your Precious Name Amen.
