“Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” — Psalm 51:12
Joy doesn’t always arrive at the beginning or the end of a season. Most often, it shows up in the middle, right where life feels ordinary, tiring, or uncertain. God’s joy isn’t fragile. It doesn’t disappear when life gets complicated. It rises in the heart that whispers, “Lord, help me keep going.” Joy is the quiet strength that steadies your hands when you’re caregiving. Joy is the peace that settles over you when you’re doing the same task for the tenth time. Joy is the reminder that God sees every unseen act of love and calls it holy. You don’t have to feel joyful to be held by joy. God’s joy is a sustaining joy, the kind that lifts you one breath, one prayer, one moment at a time.
“Father God, thank You and praise You for joy that meets me in the middle of my responsibilities, my waiting, and my weariness. Let Your joy rise in me and in every person I care for. Strengthen our spirits, steady our hearts, and remind us that Your joy is our daily strength. Love You, thank You, praise You and give You all the hoor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.”
