“Rich Where It Matters”

James 2:5; “Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?”

God’s economy has never matched the worlds. The world measures worth by what you hold in your hands; God measures worth by what you hold in your heart. James reminds us that heaven’s inheritance isn’t earned through status, wealth, or applause, it’s received through love and trust. Those overlooked by society are often the ones who see God most clearly. Those with little to lean on learn to lean on Him fully. And in that dependence, they discover a richness the world can’t imitate and can’t take away.

Father God, teach me to value what You value. Strip away the pride that chases status and fill me with the faith that receives Your promises. Make me rich in the things that last. Love You, Thank You, praise You and give You all the honor and glory in Jesus Precious Name Amen.
