“God Fixes With Joy”

When my children brought me their torn clothes, they weren’t ashamed, they trusted me. They believed I could fix what they couldn’t. And when I did, their joy wasn’t just about the clothes; it was about being cared for, restored, and made whole again. That’s exactly how God responds when we turn from sin. Not with anger. Not with disappointment. But with delight, because His child came home with something broken and trusted Him enough to say, “Can You fix this?” And He does. He doesn’t shame us for the hole. He doesn’t scold us for the loose button. He simply restores, renews, and rejoices. Because the fixing is part of the relationship. “So when you follow Jesus, He will gladly mend what’s torn, strengthen what’s loose, and send you back out clothed in grace.”

1 Peter 5:10 “He will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to give them beauty for ashes,
the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Isaiah 61:1-3
