John 16:33 (ESV)
“I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
This verse holds both honesty and hope in the same breath. Jesus does not deny the weight of trouble, He names it plainly. Yet He anchors peace not in circumstances, but in Himself. The promise is not escape from hardship, but victory through Him.
Peace is not the absence of storms. Peace is the presence of Christ, steady, victorious, and already triumphant.

“On A Wing and A Prayer”
Law demands,
Grace gives.
Law says “do,”
Grace says “believe.”
Law exacts,
Grace gives,
Law says “work”,
Grace says “rest.”
Law threatens, expressing a curse,
Grace asks, expressing a blessing.
Law says “Do, and thou shalt live”,
Grace says, “Live, and thou shalt do.”
Law condemns the best man,
Grace saves the worst man.
Law examines us,
Grace through the Spirit in Jesus saves even the worst of us.
Law keeps a record of wrongs,
Grace is unmerited love and favor for the undeserved.
