“Under His Watchful Eye”

” For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. “
I John 5:4

This verse feels like a deep breath of strength, the kind that settles our spirit and reminds us of who we are and who we belong to. John doesn’t start with effort, striving, or performance. He starts with birth. If you are born of God, and you are. Then overcoming isn’t something you achieve. It’s something you inherit. It’s built into our spiritual DNA. John says you don’t overcome by fighting harder. You overcome because God’s life in you is stronger than anything around you. Faith is the victory because faith ties you to the One who cannot be defeated.
You are not fighting from weakness,
You are standing from victory.
Not because everything is easy.
Not because people have been fair.
But because the life of God in you is stronger,
Than the schemes of men.
You don’t have to match their tactics.
You don’t have to fear their timing.
You don’t have to carry the weight alone.
You are born of God.
That means you overcome.

Lord Jesus, Thank You and praise You for holding me close today. Guide my steps, calm my heart, and let Your peace rest on my home. Keep me in Your care and help me trust Your, timing in all things. Amen.
