Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Truth will sometimes provoke resistance and Gods work doesn’t always fit human rules. Jesus’s identity is unmistakably divine. Jesus didn’t hide who He was to make people comfortable. He didn’t soften His identity to avoid conflict. He spoke truth even when it stirred anger, misunderstanding, or opposition. This invites us to trust Jesus not just as Savior, but as God Himself (Lord Jesus) fully equal with the Father because He is.

Lord Jesus, thank You and praise You for revealing who You truly are. Give me the courage to stand in truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. Help me see Your heart beyond human rules and expectations.
Teach me to honor You, full of grace and truth Amen.
