Proverbs 4:7: “The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
“Proverbs 16:16: “How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!”
Proverbs 19:20: “Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise.”
This is like a proverb or a challenge to the heart. It’s asking us to pause and weigh the direction of our choices: are we building something lasting, or are we tearing ourselves down? “Is building something worthy, or destroying yourself, worth it?” Every choice carries weight. Some choices build legacies of love, faith, and service. Others chip away at peace, dignity, and hope. True wisdom is found in choosing what is worthy, what honors God, uplifts others, and strengthens your spirit.
Deuteronomy 30:19 “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”
