“Forgiveness Is Not Tolerance”

This quote carries a strong message of discernment, boundaries, and spiritual courage. It’s not just about forgiveness, it’s about wisdom in how we respond to harmful behavior, especially when it crosses into abuse or harassment.

Too often, we think as if that person has made a mistake, and thus, we should forgive that individual. Sure the more you keep on tolerating it, the worse it will become. Talk about abuse and harassment, and it is essential that you take a stand right on the very first day. The same goes for strangers as well. © Unknown Christian

“Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.”

—Proverbs 31:8 (KJV)

Forgiveness is sacred, but it is not silence. Scripture calls us to forgive, yes, but also to protect, to speak truth, and to stand against injustice. Tolerating harm in the name of grace is not what Jesus modeled. He forgave sinners, but He also overturned tables and confronted abuse. This quote reminds us that love must be courageous.
