A Poetic Reflection on God’s Miracles,
It made no sense!
To dip in muddy waters seven times,
To smear blood on doorposts,
To walk around walls with trumpets and silence.
It made no sense!
To feed thousands with a boy’s lunch,
To sleep in a storm,
To spit in mud and call it healing.
It made no sense!
To wait, to trust, to forgive again.
To bless enemies.
To believe when the tomb was sealed.
But then!
The leper was clean,
The blind could see,
The storm obeyed,
The walls fell,
The grave broke open.
It made no sense… Until it did!
Until mercy rewrote the math,
Grace bent the laws of logic,
Love made a way
Where there was none.
This is the common sense of miracles:
Not chaos, but covenant.
Not magic, but mercy.
Not spectacle, but sacred timing.
It made no sense,
Until God said,
“Watch what I can do.”
