It is a new and Holy day today, for we receive what has been given us. Our faith lies in the Giver, not our own acceptance. We acknowledge our mistakes, but the Lord to whom all error is unknown is yet the One who answers our mistakes by giving us the means to lay them down, and rise to Him in gratitude and love. He descends to meet us, as we come to Him.
Trusting the Giver
Today is holy not because we are flawless, but because we are received. The Giver, God Himself, does not wait for our perfection. He meets us in our imperfection, offering grace not as a reward, but as a gift. Our faith is not in our ability to accept, but in His unwavering willingness to give.
- Grace over guilt: We acknowledge our mistakes, but we do not dwell in them. The Lord, untouched by error, offers us a way to rise.
- Descent of mercy: He comes down to us, not because we climbed high enough, but because He loves deeply enough.
- Response of love: We rise not by effort, but by gratitude. We love because He first loved us.
Let this day be a celebration of divine generosity. Let your heart rest in the truth that you are not striving alone, you are being lifted.
