“In Everything, Give Thanks”

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Gratitude isn’t denial. It’s defiance, against despair, against bitterness, against forgetfulness. It’s remembering that God is still present, still working, still loving.

To give thanks in everything is to trust that nothing is wasted. Not the tears. Not the trials. Not the waiting. This is His will: That we remember Him in the middle of it all.
