1 John 4:18
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” This verse directly speaks to the transformation described: from fear to love, from illusion to holy relationship. It is no dream to love your brother or sister as yourself. Nor is your Holy relationship with the Lord Jesus a dream. All that remains of dreams within it is that it is still a special relationship. Yet it is very useful to the Holy Spirit, who has a special function here. It will become the happy dream through which the Holy Spirit can spread joy to thousands on millions who believe that love is fear.
