“Mercy Anew”

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
– Matthew 25:23

The way Jesus describes the joy of the master welcoming the servant, it’s not just reward, it’s relationship. It speaks deeply to those who’ve poured themselves out in quiet, persistent faithfulness. Like John, Jesus’s friend words, from no miracles, but truth on his lips. And here in Matthew, faithfulness over “a few things” becomes the gateway to divine joy. It’s that our daily offering, however small it may seem, is already wrapped in heaven’s “well done.” “Mercy Anew” yet? It would make a powerful benediction.
