Because Jesus Lives In Us. We do have hope! Although we don’t always feel like smiling, we can choose to do what’s right, even when we don’t feel like it. We can be kind and affectionate because Jesus is and our life is hidden in him. When we need to, we can reach right down inside our heart and soul and pull out some Jesus and sprinkle it on a wound or a broken heart. Sometimes easier said than done. But with Jesus all things are possible. When we are overwhelmed, we can breathe in Jesus like fresh oxygen. Since his love surrounds us, bright hope instantly rises like the sun on a fresh Spring morning.
Genesis 2:7 – “Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
John 20:22 – “And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.’”
Isaiah 42:5 – “Thus says God the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and its offspring, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it.”
“Breathe In Jesus Like Fresh Oxygen“
In the quiet dawn, the air is light,
A whispered grace, the soul takes flight.
Like morning winds that kiss the skin,
Breathe Him deep, let love begin.
A rush of peace, a cleansing stream,
Hope inhaled, like sacred dream.
With every breath, His mercy flows,
A life renewed, the spirit glows.
So take Him in, like air so free,
Let His presence dwell in thee.
Fresh as oxygen, pure and bright,
Jesus fills the soul with light.
